Star Spangled Celebration – Thrusday

Even though it’s after the fact, I want to give you a daily report of the behind/infront of  the scene report from Star Spangled Celebration.  For those of you who don’t know, Star Spangled is a Country music festival in Richland Center.  It’s in it’s 16th year, if I remember correctly.  I’ve been their photographer for the past 14 years.  As a result, I get an All-Access pass – cool for me!  I wasn’t a country music fan at all before doing this gig, I have been ever since.  There are no harder working entertainers than the people in country music.  And they are very appreciative of their fans again more than any other music genre, period, you can’t argue with me.!lol

Thursdays line-up included Lee “God Bless the USA” Greenwood, Terri Clark and Phil Vassar.  Alittle backstage insight…Phil is one of the nicer performers that have been through town.  He really seems to appreciate the fans and the fact we like to have him back.  This was the first time Greenwood was here.  He seemed nice and approchable.  Terri Clark, well….uhm,…not so much. This is her second and hopefully last time here.  Some people need to be knocked down acouple of notches and if Terri’s mom knew how she acted to strangers she’d probably take care of it, ’nuff said.

More on the other days later.
